EMJC was formed from the Eyemouth judo club on
7/10/1993. The driving force behind this was our sensei GeorgeTones. He had been running the Eyemouth judo club for 5 years and had much success using his training regimes. EastMarch is historically the area of the Scottish Borders now known as the Merse. Further details of the name can be found on this site: http://www.theborderers.info/laws1.html. Weekly training is on Wednesdays from 7-8pm for Juniors and 8-10pm for seniors. We are located in Foulden Village Hall on the A6105 about 5 miles west of Berwick on Tweed. We welcome spectators and newcomers as well as other judo club players from near and far. We are affiliated to Judoscotland and insured through the BJA. |
